Designer Duc Hung has been dubbed the "Witch of Colors" in the Vietnamese fashion industry for more than 30 years. Not only is he a famous designer, he is also a veteran artist who has been attached to the Vietnamese stage for many years – something that no other fashion designer has ever done. He has received many awards, Gold and Silver medals in International Puppet Festivals as well as National Performances. In 2010, he was honored to be awarded the title of Meritorious Artist by the State President.

NTK ĐỨC HÙNG NỔI TIẾNG TỪ MỘT CHIẾC NƠ
Năm 1992 khi anh còn là một cậu sinh viên, vì quá ngưỡng mộ tài sắc của Vi Thị Đông trong cuộc thi Hoa hậu Việt Nam nên anh đã quyết định thiết kế trang phục miễn phí cho thí sinh này. Trang phục của hoa hậu Vi Thị Đông năm đó được NTK Đức Hùng lấy cảm hứng từ những mẫu váy quyền quý của các quý bà châu Âu với chiếc nơ dài khổ 60cm vô cùng độc đáo. Chính bộ trang phục Vi Thị Đông mặc trong đêm chung kết cuộc thi hoa hậu năm đó đã trở thành một hiện tượng thời trang được nhiều cô gái yêu thích, đưa tên tuổi của NTK Đức Hùng lên một tầm cao mới.
